'Tour de Tel Aviv' Marathon and Cycling Festival!

Every Sukkot, Tel Aviv hosts a 3 day biking festival, culminating in 3 biking marathons routes around the city:

  • 7.5 kilometer route
  • 22 kilometer route
  • 42 kilometer route

Each spinning class runs for 40 minutes.

4. Tour de Tel Aviv Cycling Marathon Around the City

Enjoy one of the 3 gorgeous bike routes riding along Tel Aviv boulevards, highways and seaside promenade.

Note: you must pre-register for the Tour de Tel Aviv before October 2nd by internet or sign up on October 3 - 4.

A full rider’s kit will be distributed to cyclists on Oct. 3 – 4 at Rabin Square. Make sure to bring an ID (passport or Israeli ID card).

Route 1 – 42 kilometers – From age 16 and up. Starts at 7 AM sharp.

Route 2 – 22 kilometers – From age 8 and up. Children between 8 – 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Starts at 8:15 AM.

Route 1 – 7.5 kilometers – Good for all ages. Starts at 9:30 AM.



Annual Tel Aviv 10 Kilometer Night Run



Last year, 16,000 runners ran 10 kilometers through Tel Aviv streets and boulevards! This year more are expected.

Where: Run starts at Rabin Square just near City Hall


When: October 30th at approximately 8 PM (Run start times are staggered based on your estimated run speed)


Cost: 150 Shekel per person (no group discount), 30 Shekel extra for phone registration

These are the last weeks of a haunting, beautiful exhibit by French artist Christian Boltanski at the Nahum Gutman Museum in Neve Tzedel.

Boltanski is sometimes called the artist of the shadows. His evocative works explore issues relating to memory and loss.

You and your kids will spend 2-3 hours with the guide, on the safari train, walking through selected parts of the zoo, seeing how the zookeepers take care of the animals. You will be able to feed some animals too!

Sounds weird?


Maybe so, but I found it fascinating. If you don't tend to get queasy, I recommend it for both kids and adults.
