Nothing beats the convenience of an Israel motorhome rental when it comes to experiencing the sights and sounds of Israel up close.
My husband Yoram and I bought a motorhome a while ago and we've since become motor home aficionados. We travel with it often when we feel like taking a break from the city, and wish to enjoy some of Israel's great natural beauty.
You can see me here sitting with my stepson Tom and my dog Puffy on a recent overnight trip to Michmoret, one of Israel's most beautiful beaches less than 30 miles (44 kilometers) north of Tel Aviv.

One of the advantages of renting a caravan or motorhome in Israel is that it's a much cheaper way to get to really see the country.
You get the price of a hotel and car rental in one.
Israel has dozens of campgrounds that allow motorhome and caravan parking. You pay a daily fee that varies from 20 to 50 shekels. Most allow you to hook up to electricity and water for a small surcharge.
Hotels in Israel are notoriously expensive, especially during the peak tourist season between May and October. Even budget accomodations can be cost prohibitive during the summer months.
So if you want to see Israel's beautiful terrain up close without spending a fortune on both hotels and a car, an Israel motorhome rental is a great way to go.
Travelling in a motorhome or caravan is a fun way to get to know the country, especially if you don't want to rough it up by camping.
Israel is a small, but beautiful country with extremely diverse natural habitats:
You can rent either a comfortable and even luxurious caravan or motorhome like ours that you can see in the picture.
The smaller caravans usually have a double bed, a kitchenette with a refrigerator, stove, sink, shower and bathroom. Larger ones have sleeping areas for 3 - 6 other people. The newer ones all have LED TVs and DVDs. Some have microwave ovens.
Israel summers are hot so if you are renting during the summer, make sure that the air conditioner works well!
Ask to see the caravan or motorhome you rent BEFORE you go book it. Either take a trip to see it, or make sure the photos are up-to-date.

One of the great things about travelling in Israel on a motorhome or caravan is getting to meet 'real' Israelis.
Most visitors get to meet Israelis who are employed at their hotels, restaurants and other businesses catering to tourists. They may or may not leave the best impression.
Israelis are typically very friendly, and most speak English.
Spending a few days on a beautiful campground and caravan parking is a fantastic way to meet, chat and time with real Israelis while you are sightseeing in Israel.
We love traveling on our motorhome, but we also rent it out often.
If you are interested, fill in the form below and either my husband Yoram or I will get back to you soon!
